I LAUNCHED BRIELLE MAGAZINE IN 2013. AS AN AVID READER, I GOT WEARY OF HOW CHRISTIAN MEDIA WAS LACKING IN TANGIBLE AND RELATABLE CONTENT. AS SUCH, I STARTED THIS SITE TO IMPACT AND INSPIRE A GENERATION OF YOUNG CHRISTIANS.
Meet Mercy Ebuetse, the founder and Editor-in-Chief of Brielle Magazine.
Writing has been her innate passion because Mercy began writing as soon as she was able to pick up a pen. An introvert by nature, Mercy connected to the world via reading. Through many years of reading, writing became a by-product of her intrigue to seek and share knowledge. With a Bachelors in Civil Engineering and Masters in Engineering Technology Management, her research papers titled “Drinking water quality and sanitation issues: A survey of a semi-urban setting in Nigeria” and “Analysis of the 5S Technique: Case Study of a Surveying Laboratory” were published in two scientific journals. In addition to her academic achievements, Mercy is passionate about helping women and youths in achieving their God-given purpose through writing and speaking engagements.
Mercy is a woman with no limits as she seeks to utilize her God-given talents in all aspects of her life. She is currently working on her first book to offer solutions and guidance to creatives and entrepreneurs in excelling in their craft. As a renowned woman of multiple talents, she has been featured on TV and Print media such as Punch, Vanguard, AIT over the years and she strives to continue to be an influencer for God.
Brielle Magazine (formerly Shalom Truths Mag) was founded on the 1st of March 2013. The first printed Brielle Magazine was launched in 2014. Mercy launched Brielle Magazine in response to the weariness of finding tangible and relatable content in Christian Media. The passion and determination to impact and inspire a generation of young Christians have been the root mission of Brielle Magazine.
