Most people might not know this yet but packing for church is as important as packing for a business trip or vacation. Bear in mind that your spiritual journey is serious business and church services the are vital gatherings for growth and stability in your spiritual walk. Hence, a church service is not something you approach lightly or unprepared. - Offerings: In Deuteronomy 16:16-17, God admonishes us not to come to His house empty-handed. I mean, God has summarized it for us! And this is the summary: Do not pack for church services without an offering to bless and revere God’s awesomeness, blessings, and grace in our lives.
Three times a year all your men must appear before the Lord your God at the place he will choose: at the Festival of Unleavened Bread, the Festival of Weeks and the Festival of Tabernacles. No one should appear before the Lord empty-handed: Each of you must bring a gift in proportion to the way the Lord your God has blessed you.
