Showing kindness to others makes them feel loved and appreciated. It shows that you care for them. Sometimes we get caught up in our own kinds of stuff that we sometimes forget about showing kindness to others.
Also, it is important to note that showing kindness to others doesn’t have to be expensive. You can show kindness with or without spending money.
Kindness is important, and it helps to show the receiver that he or she is loved.
Having said that, here 20 ways you can show kindness today:
- Pray for someone: praying for someone is one of the important things you can do for that person.
- You can encourage someone: do you notice someone who is feeling a bit down or unhappy? You can encourage that person and make that person smile. Even if you are a shy person, you can also encourage that through written notes or messages.
- You can assist someone: do you know something others don’t, that can be of benefit to them? Perhaps you have an understanding of a concept, software, or a subject; you can assist someone who doesn’t know those things and teach them or help them with it.
- You can send out postcards: you can send out thoughtful postcards to people.
- You can give someone a compliment: you can give a sincere compliment to someone that the person would appreciate.
- Give surprise gift: you can surprise someone with a thoughtful gift.
- Help a couple babysit: maybe a couple you know is in need of someone to help them watch over their kids for some time in order for them to go out.
- Call someone: call someone, call your friend, call someone who feels lonely, call a family member you haven’t called in a long while. Tell them how much you care.
- Share your food: share your food with those who don’t have. Sometimes people may not want to tell you they are in need of food, if you notice someone who is in need of food, you can share your food with them.
