Best Christmas Gifts You Can Get For Your Christian Friend

There are many reasons why gifting gifts to friends and family is necessary. Depending on what the occasion calls for, gifts play an important role in our relationships. We give gifts for many reasons such as:
- A way of giving love and affection.
- For communicative purposes.
- To build and strengthen relationships.
- To show appreciation.
- A medium to help people.
Every day of the year calls for showing love and appreciation towards friends and family. But no season requires it more like Christmastime. Here, it is symbolic; God loved us so much that he gave us His son. Hence, we demonstrate this love by giving back to the people around us.
Ointment and perfume delight the heart, And the sweetness of a man’s friend gives delight by hearty counsel.
Proverbs 27:9 NKJV
Thinking of what to give that friend who backs you up physically, emotionally, and spiritually? In essence, that friend who is more like a brother at this point? Here are some ideas:
A friend loves at all times, And a brother is born for adversity.
Proverbs 17:17 NKJV
- Journals: God speaks to us, His children. And when He speaks sometimes, there is a tendency to forget. So, gifting your Christian friend or friends a journal, is one of the best Christmas gifts ever. It helps in keeping track of their conversations with God. It also shows that you are invested in their spiritual walks and talks with God. Now, tell me which Christian friend who would not love you after this.
- Devotionals and Bibles: There are different devotionals and Bibles. Notice that your friend struggles in a particular area or has been longing to get this Bible version forever? Get a devotional that caters to their needs or the Bible version they really want. By this, you equip your friend with spiritually uplifting content gifts. Thus, automatically setting the tone for the new year.
- Time and effort: Gifts do not always have to be tangible. Sacrificing your time and effort also speaks volumes of love and affection. This includes spending the whole day with friends, making your friends feel heard or seen, or accompanying your friend/friends on Christmas shopping sprees.
- Customized accessories: Nothing screams thoughtfulness and a personal touch or feel like a customized ring or bracelet. With customizing, you do not have to do the most and love emanates from the act, still. Thinking of wowing your Christian friend this Christmas? I think customized accessories are your go-to.
- Christian shows or concerts: Since the Christmas season involves a lot of going out, gifting a friend a ticket to a gospel show or concert is not a bad idea. Rather than going for secular parties or feeling left out, get tickets to Christian shows or concerts where you get to worship God and still have fun.
As Christmas is the giving season, I urge you to be intentional about giving and try to spread God’s love and grace as much as possible. Feel free to add other ideas too.
