It Is Not Too Late

I want you to know and remember that it is not too late.
It is not too late to make that desired change you want to make. It is not too late to start cultivating that good habit your heart yearns for. It is not too late to start that thing God has instructed you to start. It is not too late to be better, to do better, and to put in good work. It is not too late to start again.
It’s December already, and we are all looking forward to the New Year and the beautiful things the New Year will usher in for us. However, it is important not to forget that we still have some days left in December.
If you’ve had some goals stacked and placed on the shelf somewhere because you feel the year is already over, think about it again, and look at the remaining days left in 2016.
So many times we like to wait for the New Year before we start something new or before we embark on the desired change. I do this also, I like to wait for the new day, the new week, the new month, or the New Year before starting anything new, and I sometimes forget the present.
I soon realized that I was missing out on things I could start in the present moment as well.
Don’t get me wrong, I love new beginnings and the fresh starts they bring, what I am saying is this; even as we are looking forward to the new beginnings, we shouldn’t forgo the present moment and discard it as not capable of embodying a fresh start.
Let’s be practical:
I had a goal to write a collection of poems before this year runs out, I had set this goal some months ago, and the year is almost running out, and I haven’t made headway with regards the goal.
So do I say because the New Year is approaching, I should leave the goal till the New Year?
Or do I say because there are still some days left in 2016, I can start what I want to start, even though I complete it in the New Year?
What is stopping me from starting now?
I know this is the time most people plan for the next year concerning goals, habits, and other things they would like to do in the New Year. However, I want you to remember that the remaining days left in this year is not too small for you to start what you want to start.
In addition, I want you to know that it is not too late for God to do something new in your life. It is not too late to get that job you’ve been hoping for, it is not too late to move into your new apartment, to get that contract, and so on. Don’t lose hope.
Also, if you have planned to start being more kind to others, for instance, don’t put it off until next year. Look around you, who can you show kindness to? Who is that person that needs your help, your kind words, your kind deeds, and so on?
I want you to know that it is not too late to start again, it is not too late to make a good impact in 2016, in addition, remember that these few days remaining in 2016 is not too small for God to do something new in your life.

Hmmmmm word. I strongly believe that 31st of December is not permitted to come without my expections. Thank dear for tiring up my faith.
