Faith comes by hearing the word of God. For faith to manifest, there has to be a hearing, reading and studying of God’s word. This suggests that faith is more than mouth talk. It involves taking practical steps to trust and believe God and His Word. Thus, intentionality and commitment are required.
Faith is one of the key elements in our relationship with God. Hebrew 11:6 attest to this fact. It is the only way to please God.
But without faith it is impossible to please Him, for he who comes to God must believe that He is, and that He is a rewarder of those who diligently seek Him.
Hebrews 11:6
From the Bible, we see many Bible heroes succeeding and overcoming through faith. To the Christian, faith is what makes a relationship with God stronger, braver, and better.
What is faith?
Faith is a strong belief in a supernatural power. Faith is not merely teachings and sayings, but rather a strong conviction birthed on the studying and meditating on the word of God. It assures us of a greater plan, God’s plan. Faith is relying on God’s promises, no matter what.
