STILL STANDING
Marvin Sapp lost his wife in September 2010 to colon cancer. I think I have a little understanding of what it means to lose someone close to you to cancer, the period is traumatizing and you wish there is something you can do to relieve them of the pain. Here is the most traumatizing part, the part where they can’t be with you anymore. The only consolation is in knowing that they have gone to be with the father. This is where I learned my lesson from this man of God, that irrespective of what it seems that you are passing through, God will still be God and He alone can strengthen you. True worship is worship that proceeds out of you, in spirit and in truth irrespective of the situation around you. It comes from knowing the God that you serve. Two and a half years down the line, After all, he’s being through HE IS STILL STANDING.
worship is the easiest way to yield to God. remember “to whom you yield yourself servants to obey,His servants you are to whom you obey” If we yield ourselves to the hurt an pain associated with losing someone/ something precious to us we become slaves to depression and fear which has torment, but when we yield ourselves to God in worship we open ourselves to JOY UNSPEAKABLE because in His presence there is fullness of joy and pleasures forever more. what better way is there to remain standing.
Wow, you have given a broader light to the topic. Thank you.
God never fails and He will always be God.
Always God. Thanks
