CHEATING

Conceptual photo of a marital infidelity

Emotional or Physical, cheating is cheating. I recently heard of an invisible relationship law – “You can leave out any detail that will hurt your partner” that law doesn’t promote openness. Anything you can’t do with another in front of your partner or share with your partner is already tending towards cheating.

What to do: Firstly, you need to draw boundaries and state clearly with your partner what you consider cheating to be. You may be surprised that your partner doesn’t think flirting is same as cheating, while you do. Cheating feeds on secrecy. Let your partner know exactly what’s being going on and be ready to face the repercussion of your actions. Also, some relationships have been fixed even after cheating but that is your decision to make. I personally won’t advise that except in a marital relationship.
