Christmas is more than the world the world paints it to be. It is a time where Christians all around the world celebrate God’s gift to mankind – Jesus Christ.
For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life.
John 3:16 NKJV
In this the love of God was manifested toward us, that God has sent His only begotten Son into the world, that we might live through Him.
I John 4:9 NKJV
It is the season to commemorate God’s love and grace to the world. Yet, with all the parties, shopping, food, and fun that comes with the celebration, it is easy to forget the reason for the celebration and how we are to behave in this season. The main theme of Christmas is the love of God. Hence, we are to portray God’s love in our acts and dealings with people at all times, especially during Christmas. As a result, living examples of God’s love.
God has placed us exactly where we can share His love and hope, and what better season to extend God’s love to others than during the holidays.
- Give: This includes your time, money, food, or clothes. Giving to others this Christmas shows you understand the reason for the season and that the love of God is embedded in your heart. I mean, God gave us His only son. So, when you give during this season, you demonstrate God’s love in its fullest.
So let each one give as he purposes in his heart, not grudgingly or of necessity; for God loves a cheerful giver.

But whoever has this world’s goods, and sees his brother in need, and shuts up his heart from him, how does the love of God abide in him?

- Pray for others: Christmastime is a season for outings. You are out in the public more than usual. You are either shopping, attending parties, school concerts, and community events. You tend to encounter more people and make new friends over the holidays. In such cases, spreading God’s love would be in the form of saying prayers on their behalf. If you notice an uncomfortable problem in their lives, pray for them. Now, they do not even have to know. But at the end of the day, seeds of prayers are sown on their behalf.
Therefore I exhort first of all that supplications, prayers, intercessions, and giving of thanks be made for all men,

- Evangelize: Tell me a more effective way to share God’s love. Sharing the Good News with the people you meet in the course of Christmas activities illuminates the love of God spread abroad in your hearts. Making others want to be beneficiaries. It also highlights that the significance for the season.
But you be watchful in all things, endure afflictions, do the work of an evangelist, fulfill your ministry.

- Be a peacemaker: During holidays, things can get a little out of hand as friends and family come together to celebrate the birth of Jesus Christ. Waving the flag of peace in such circumstances distinguishes you from the crowd. It shows that the love and peace of God is in your heart. Consequently, radiating everywhere you are and go.
Finally, brethren, farewell. Become complete. Be of good comfort, be of one mind, live in peace; and the God of love and peace will be with you.
